About HX Expeditions
HX — formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions — sails Antarctica, the Arctic, Svalbard, Greenland and the Northwest Passage on purpose-built hybrid-powered expedition ships with science centres and a full team of expedition guides.
Ships carry 500 guests or fewer, so everyone lands with the Zodiacs. The science centre runs citizen-science projects you can take part in, and lectures come from biologists, glaciologists and historians rather than entertainers. Fares typically include a wind and water-resistant jacket, loan of boots and trekking poles, and the landings themselves. Alongside the polar programme, Norway's coastal voyages and the Galapagos complete the range.
