Check the FCDO advice for your destination
The UK Government publishes country-specific travel advice covering entry requirements, health, safety, local laws and customs, natural hazards and travel warnings. It is updated regularly and should be checked shortly before you travel and again on the day of departure.

Passports & visas
Please make sure every member of your party holds a valid passport that meets the destination's validity requirements (often at least six months beyond your return date) and any visas required for entry or transit. It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure passport, visa and health requirements are met — but we're always happy to point you to the right resources.
Health & vaccinations
Check the NHS travel health website travelhealthpro.org.uk or speak to your GP or a travel clinic in good time before departure for advice on vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis and any other health requirements.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance as soon as you book. A good policy will cover cancellation, medical treatment abroad, repatriation, lost baggage and any activities you're planning to take part in.
