About Windstar Cruises
Windstar runs three sailing yachts with real canvas and three small all-suite motor yachts, carrying 148 to 342 guests. Sails unfurl to music as you leave port, the marina platform drops for swimming off the back of the ship, and the bridge is open to guests.
Itineraries favour the places big ships cannot enter: the Greek islands, Dalmatian coast, French Riviera, Tahiti and Costa Rica. The James Beard Foundation partnership shapes the menus, and the Star Plus ships added two more restaurants and a spa after a full lengthening. Destination Discovery Events take small groups to private tastings, market tours and local homes.
