The Costa del Sol holidays for teenagers
Fuengirola and Benalmádena have the water parks, Selwo Marina, Tivoli World and a promenade with cycle hire; Marbella and Puerto Banús are better for older teens who want the beach clubs and shopping. The train along the coast means they can move around independently.
Best time to visit The Costa del Sol
April to June and September to October are the best months. July and August are hot and packed with Spanish holidaymakers. Winter stays mild at 17–19°C — perfect for golf and city breaks, though too cool for the beach.
The Costa del Sol airport transfers
Málaga Airport is 15 minutes to Torremolinos, 20 minutes to Benalmádena, 25 minutes to Fuengirola, 40–50 minutes to Marbella and around an hour to Estepona. The coastal train serves Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola directly from the airport.
